Study Purpose |
The purpose of this study is to describe and compare the rate and extent of nicotine absorption after a single-dose administration with Nic ODT, to that of an oromucosal (administration of product through the oral cavity or mouth) nicotine spray (Nicorette QuickMist, referred to as Nicorette QM). |
Study Duration |
Study duration is approximately 28 days not including screening period. There are 5 periods in the study with approximately 7 days between periods; confinement is approximately 26 hours (from Day -1 check- in until about 12 hours after you take the study drug); no returns/ambulatories. Smoking or use of nicotine-containing products is permitted for the duration of the washout between periods. |
